Women-owned Businesses in Pittsburgh

By Belle O’Hara

Happy International Women’s month!

The entire month of March (and specifically the 8th!) is dedicated to uplifting and appreciating the women of the world. The strength and resilience of women is amazing; constantly proving that we really are capable of anything. When I will sit back and think of all of the inspirational women in my life, I feel so proud to call them friends and family. To me, it's incredibly important to fight to support women, and admire those who pushed for change before us. Specifically in Pittsburgh, we are lucky to have so many unique women-owned businesses, and this month is the perfect time to give some of them a try and show your support. From restaurants, cafes, and retail shops, there is a women-owned local business for all of your needs. These shops are a testament to how amazing women are.

Remember to treat every day of every month as international women’s day!

I found all of my info on these sites listed below, if you want to do some more research of your own! I only listed a taste of what these amazing Pittsburgh women have to offer, there are so many more options!
